Summary
I worked with the WebZen team to deliver a new, custom designed website for the TRI-STAD brand.
This involved developing a new visual identity for the TRI-STAD digital presence to better highlight
their unique expertise & capabilities.
What I Did
While the WebZen team worked on a content strategy, I was responsible for both the
design & front-end development of the new website. I worked closely with the TRI-STAD leadership to
create a new visual aesthetic from their previous website. With the design finalized, I built the
website to be fully responsive and compatible with all major browsers, while ensuring the site
management was as streamlined as possible.
Reflection
This was my first project with WebZen, and the overall experience for both ourselves and TRI-STAD was
very smooth. The design process was kept open for client input, while numerous development reviews
allowed for fine-tuning the final visitor experience on the website. With the design being very
unique, there were some front-end development learning opportunities that helped improve some of my
coding skills.
Programs Used
A variety of programs were used for both creating the deliverables and handling
project communication, which included:
- Google Workspace for handling project documentation and notes
- Adobe Photoshop for cleaning up some of the client photography files
- Adobe XD when designing out the new TRI-STAD website
- Visual Studio Code as the preferred IDE when developing the site
- ShoutCMS which was the platform the website was built on
